In 2023, WoMin marked a decade of supporting women and communities resisting extractive developments, in collaboration with a substantive network of partners across the African continent. This publication celebrates this milestone and showcases our journey as a growing Pan African ecofeminist organisation. It amplifies the cultural expressions of resistance that have emerged from WoMin’s platforms and processes. These pages are filled with photographs, political posters, struggle songs, slogans, and poetry created by the fierce and inspiring African women organisers who have shaped our political vision, mission, and strategy. This publication is dedicated to these women, their communities, and their movements. It is also dedicated to our partners across the continent, as well as WoMin’s staff, board, and funders - both past and present. Together, as a broad alliance in the struggle for a post- extractivist Africa, we honour the past and look forward to the future.
