This publication is a collaborative effort of activists, scholars, and organizations from 12 countries across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In the face of considerable social, political, and economic tensions, 48 feminists from diverse backgrounds united to analyze the development of feminist movements within both the historical and the current political landscapes. The publication attempts to capture and comprehend a range emotions - from outrage and despair to hope and confusion - encountered by feminists while challenging the patriarchal status quo and fighting for a just future.
