Domesticity, Masculinities and Feminities: Complicating gender and dealing with water in Pemba, Mozambique

The book argues that understandings of gender need to be context and history-specific rather than being based on binary thinking that associates femininity with domestic, unpaid work and masculinity with non-domestic, paid work, focusing on the case of Pemba, Mozambique.
