MY BODY, MY HUMAN RIGHTS, AND MY ACTIVISM ON SRHR IN FIJI

he Fiji LGBTQI SRHR Peer Support Group grew from strength to strength since its beginnings in 2015 and among multiple crises at local, national, regional and global levels. Members have built a community of practice to strengthen relationships amongst Fiji SRHR activists and a deeper and wider set of activist-driven knowledge and practice on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) in Fiji. There is such a lack of grassroots analysis and advocacy material directly produced by LGBTQI+ activists in the Pacific. We also want to help to change that - affirming and recognising knowledge, tactics and strategies through activist life stories as in this report.
