This paper brings together two intertwined perspectives. On the one hand, it is a subjective and personal statement, in which I share the beginnings of my feminist journey: how and when it began, and what cumulative perspective I arrived at. Here, I attempt to recapture those moments and lessons that marked the process of intuitively approaching another way of being a woman. On the other hand, it is a recovery of the political contexts that framed and influenced the 30 years of struggle, in the process of including the Conference's Agenda for Action in national and international mechanisms, accompanied by the milestones and achievements in the development of feminism itself.
