Mwasi is a collective of women who refuse to be 'saved' by anyone. As Black and Afro-descendant women, we designate the French State, dominant white 'feminism,' and state racism as political enemies. Our sole concern is to live up to our ideas, practices, and heritage: the fight against anti-Black racism, imperialism, heteropatriarchy, and capitalism. We have chosen Afrofeminism to politically translate our revolts, which we want to transform into a revolution for a radical systemic change, a system free from racism, male domination, and capitalism.
