What lies beyond racial capitalism? The answer lies in the Black diaspora’s contribution to the co-operative sector, which is often omitted from discussions on the social and solidarity economy. Grounded on empirical field work and case study analysis, Beyond Racial Capitalism emplores an Afrocentric lens in offering examples of the Black radical tradition among indigenous people, racialized and indigenous migrants, and descendants of enslaved persons in the diaspora.
