Doing Research on Sexuality in Africa: Ethical Dilemmas and the Positioning of the Researcher

This paper examines the epistemological and ethical challenges of researching sexuality in Africa, drawing on the authors’ fieldwork in Maputo, Mozambique, to explore how gender, sensitivity, and research ethics shape knowledge production.
