The African Women's Development Fund (AWDF), supported by Global Affairs Canada, has launched the "Free and Creative Dictionary of African Feminism." This collaborative work, contributed by feminists from 19 Francophone African countries and the diaspora, combines definitions, testimonies, poems, and affirmations to celebrate the diversity of African feminist voices. Emerging from feminist writing workshops, the dictionary serves as a living space of resistance and creation, centered around the theme "Write to exist, write to resist." It aims to inspire, transmit, and sustain African feminist knowledge.
