This essay I wrote as part of my journey at the Regional Program on InternationalRelations and Feminisms developed by FLACSO, in which I delve into the role that Indigenous women from the Americas have had. Through the Continental Network of Indigenous Women of the Americas (ECMIA, by its Spanish acronym), they have not only played a pivotal role in advocating for the Lima Work Programme on Gender and the Gender Action Plan, but also worked hard to introduce climate justice from an Indigenous perspective as a concept and as a horizon into the global debate and also at the national level in many Latin American countries
