Sexe, genre et société : engendrer les sciences sociales africaines

This book is a translation of the book Engendering African Social, which emerged from a workshop organized by CODESRIA in 1991. Its aim is to lay the foundations for a relevant analysis of social relations between the sexes. It offers a critique and new directions in the social sciences in Africa. In particular, it provides methodological guidelines for integrating the gender perspective.
