This book follows the research of Dr. Caroline Shenaz Hossein on Black and racialized women who lead ROSCAs (Rotating Savings and Credit Associations) as part of the solidarity economy in what is known as mutual aid funding. Purposefully informal, the Banker Ladies combat business exclusion through their politicized economic co-operation.
